Marcel Eylens hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Harm Scheepstra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aasterein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harm Scheepstra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hans van Heiningen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aasterein's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans van Heiningen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sjors Bense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans van Heiningen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sjors Bense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Harm Scheepstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Bense having to interfere. Sjors Bense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans van Heiningen in the 16th minute of the match. Carsten van Zalen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Cohen went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Jordi Oosterhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Harm Scheepstra made a precise shot to the right of Sjors Bense. Kavelingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Aasterein's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Oosterhof came free, but Carsten van Zalen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Marcel Eylens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kavelingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aasterein the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Kavelingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Eylens to maneuver through the defense. Harm Scheepstras short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Sjors Bense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Cohen to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aasterein's zone, Jan Cohen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten van Zalen came out of the goal and Jan Cohen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes of play, Aasterein's Harm Scheepstra made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sjors Bense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans van Heiningen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Bense having to interfere. In the 68th minute Hans van Heiningen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sjors Bense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans van Heiningen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Bertus Thole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aasterein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kavelingen the free kick. Jordi Oosterhof missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 74 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Carsten van Zalen right hand side. If Jan Cohen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Aasterein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Paul Heije to maneuver through the defense. Jan Cohen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten van Zalen having to interfere. Jordi Oosterhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten van Zalen having to interfere. Jan Cohen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Thijs van der Schans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aasterein were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kavelingen for a fine match.
