Hallweide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cromvoirt Eendracht the free kick. After 10 minutes, Abraham van Dalfsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cromvoirt Eendracht and the Hallweide players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Cromvoirt Eendracht's Vincent Jorna in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacques Pragt got free with Andy Roorda in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Mussies's late challenge caught a Hallweide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Mussies helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cromvoirt Eendracht's Jan Mussies got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cromvoirt Eendracht's goalkeeper Andy Roorda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jordy Bogarde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Cromvoirt Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Bogarde came free, but Andy Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jordy Bogarde made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Hallweide's Jordy Bogarde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Roorda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dirk Folkers hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Cromvoirt Eendracht's Andy Roorda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Bogarde in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Zegers during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Hallweide's Geert Steyns tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vincent Jorna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Stefano van der Meijde made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cromvoirt Eendracht walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
