Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donald Slot took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Donald Slot dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerrit Wijnands, 1-0. If Mark Rodenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Deiman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Barendregt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Walstra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rob Naaijer, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joris Barendregt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Deiman having to interfere. When Lucas Walstra fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molsberg FC's protests and gave Lucas Walstra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Molsberg FC's Lucas Walstra got a free kick in the 27th minute. Maarheze's Rob Naaijer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gerrit Wijnands but with some difficulty. 29 minutes into the game, Arne Oost was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maarheze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molsberg FC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Maarheze got a freekick which was hit by Arne Oost. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger van Veldhuizen during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roger van Veldhuizen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes in the game Henny Jongsma after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Gerrit Wijnands. A very good opportunity. 45 minutes into the match, Molsberg FC's Jan Schipper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Deiman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Maarheze getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arne Oost hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Rodenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joris Barendregt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mark Deiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Maarheze and the Molsberg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Maarheze got a freekick which was hit by Maurits van der Aa. Mark Rodenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Deiman having to interfere. When Henny Jongsma fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maarheze's protests and gave Henny Jongsma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Maarheze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henny Jongsma to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Mark Rodenberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mark Deiman, 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Molsberg FC's Lucas Walstra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Deiman. Mark Deiman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Joris Barendregt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Mark Deiman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Mark Rodenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Molsberg FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
