An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Grol in the 8th minute of play forced Spangen's goalkeeper Jan Schuurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Schuurman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Grol in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Spangen's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Grol came free, but Jan Schuurman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Grol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jan Schuurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Bouwens scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Schuurman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Dennis Grol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jasper Bouwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Max Haremeijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Brandsma having to interfere. If Dennis Grol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Spangen's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Grol came free, but Jan Schuurman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob van Damme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Grol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Spangen's zone, Dennis Grol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Schuurman came out of the goal and Dennis Grol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Oudeschip were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Grol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Bob van Damme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Brandsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Joost de Witte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oudeschip's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spangen the free kick. 61 minutes into the match, Oudeschip's goal looked a bit too open when Max Haremeijer came free, but Tommie Brandsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Max Haremeijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oudeschip's Tommie Brandsma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bob van Damme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommie Brandsma having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Haremeijer in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommie Brandsma saved Oudeschip from getting behind. Tommie Brandsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Haremeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jasper Bouwens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oudeschip's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Bouwens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Schuurman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dennis Grol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob van Damme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Brandsma having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Spangen's Max Haremeijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommie Brandsma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jasper Bouwens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joep Opdam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Bob van Damme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Brandsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Haremeijer charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Haremeijer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Spangen's Max Haremeijer got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jan Schuurman made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jasper Bouwens sent off a good shot on target. The Spangen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oudeschip's performance. The match ended with a win for Oudeschip.
