Zuidhoven FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Hoven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Sloothaak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Nick Eschendaal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folkert de Vries was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Zuidhoven FC's Roy Luikens got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Follega's goalkeeper Abraham Sloothaak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Hoven. The supporters of Zuidhoven FC booed when Follega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy van Driest didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfred Zorge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arie van Aalderen in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Folkert de Vries, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Max Hoven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Hoven in the 74th minute of play forced Follega's goalkeeper Abraham Sloothaak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Hoven in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abraham Sloothaak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fabian Decheiver fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Follega's protests and gave Fabian Decheiver a yellow card for diving instead. Arie van Aalderen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Folkert de Vries when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jurgen Klijnstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Sloothaak having to interfere. During the 92nd minute of the match Fabian Decheiver completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabian Decheiver a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fabian Decheiver kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Roy Luikens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Abraham Sloothaak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Nick Eschendaal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Hoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
