Geersbroek's Jan Akkerboom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sjoerd Schouten in the 12th minute of play. Boudewijn Schmidt scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Akkerboom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nico-Jan van der Velden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Even in the 20th minute of the match. Reinier Zilverberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinier Zilverberg to make the kick off. The supporters of Geeserveld booed when Geersbroek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Even didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Pierewaaijer kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match.
