Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jouke Heeringa started the match with the kick off. Frans de Zaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Fabiën Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik van Loo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hoogebeintum's Fabiën Hoogsteen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hoogebeintum from getting a goal against them. Fabiën Hoogsteen was a little too slow when Jouke Nieuwburg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jan Eefting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik van Loo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Cruijff having to interfere. Fabiën Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans de Zaaijer in the 32nd minute of play. Frans de Zaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoogebeintum's goalkeeper Fabiën Hoogsteen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jouke Heeringa in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Cruijff saved Nieuwolda FC from getting behind. After having played for 45 minutes, Maurice Kimman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieuwolda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Kimman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frans de Zaaijer was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hoogebeintum booed when Nieuwolda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jouke Nieuwburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karsten Iepstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marco Cruijff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hoogebeintum's Stefano Evers got a free kick in the 60th minute. Maurice Kimman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Nieuwolda FC's Frans de Zaaijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiën Hoogsteen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiën Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans de Zaaijer in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Nieuwolda FC booed when Hoogebeintum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Werner van Heiningen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Hoogebeintum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Eefting to maneuver through the defense. If Maurice Kimman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Hoogebeintum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Kaptein to maneuver through the defense. Frederik van Loo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henny Hebert's late challenge caught a Hoogebeintum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henny Hebert helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Nieuwolda FC got a freekick which was hit by Henny Hebert. Frederik van Loo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Marco Cruijff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nieuwolda FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hoogebeintum had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
