Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Zwarthoet kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the game, Chris Zwarthoet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meliestraat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tul the free kick. Dennis de Zwaan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Marick Vondel made a huge save. Rafael van Mol charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael van Mol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Meliestraat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael van Mol to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Tul got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik van der Gun. The crowd rose to their feet as Chris Zwarthoet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marick Vondel. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Demy de Vlieger kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Niels-Jan Beishuizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastiaan Borker in the 26th minute of the match. Niels-Jan Beishuizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastiaan Borker, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tul's goalkeeper Marick Vondel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Meliestraat's goal looked a bit too open when Bastiaan Borker came free, but Niels-Jan Beishuizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niels-Jan Beishuizen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hendrik van der Gun's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hendrik van der Gun to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dennis de Zwaan made a precise shot to the right of Marick Vondel. Tul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 65th minute, one of Meliestraat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meliestraat. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Tul's Bert Kik got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Niels-Jan Beishuizen. Marick Vondel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Zwarthoet in the 73rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
