Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Krommenhoeke FC's Werner van der Vaart started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hans Plaggenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven de Vries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Hans Plaggenborg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hubert Waterman. Hans Plaggenborg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Waterman. Hubert Waterman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Hans Plaggenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hubert Waterman came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Krommenhoeke FC's Werner van der Vaart. But to his dismay, Werner van der Vaart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven de Vries got free with Paul Smit in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 played minutes Krommenhoeke FC got a freekick which was hit by Coos Legdeur. 40 minutes into the match, Krommenhoeke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Schenning came free, but Paul Smit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Werner van der Vaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Waterman having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Schenning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brillerij SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Werner van der Vaart scored to the left of an out of position Hubert Waterman, making the score, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Steven de Vries's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Smit was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Brillerij SC's Johan Schenning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Smit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paul Smit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven de Vries in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Schenning in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Smit saved Krommenhoeke FC from getting behind. Steven de Vries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Steven de Vries notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Krommenhoeke FC's Paul Smit. Paul Smit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Steven de Vries left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brillerij SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 91st minute, Han Jacobs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brain Erenstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Krommenhoeke FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
