When Blenkert HC's Jan Sanders in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jonkersland's goalie prevented a goal. Gert Jan Franssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Zuidema having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Sanders in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Zuidema saved Jonkersland from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudi Oldenbeuving during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Jonkersland a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gert Kuypers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blenkert HC's Steve Molnar. 1-0. Raymond Tanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Blenkert HC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Blenkert HC's Jan Sanders looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonkersland's Ton Sanders got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ton Sanders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Baars kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Ton Sanders recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steve Molnar. Ton Sanders showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ton Sanders was the one to do the kick off. If Gert Jan Franssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Jonkersland's Rob van den Berg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steve Molnar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ralf Wiersma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Molnar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Jan Franssen in the 69th minute of play forced Jonkersland's goalkeeper Humberto Zuidema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Jan Franssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jonkersland's goalkeeper Humberto Zuidema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Blenkert HC got a freekick which was hit by Bert Kiewit. In the 86th minute of the match Gert Kuypers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steve Molnar skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute Gert Jan Franssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Zuidema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Rob van den Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert Peters hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Jonkersland players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
