Remond Jeuring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soesloo. Maatsehei's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Daniël de Boer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian van der Leegte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remond Jeuring having to interfere. In the 71st minute Michael Hoekstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Hosson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soesloo's zone, Michael Hoekstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taco Hosson came out of the goal and Michael Hoekstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertus van Amersfoort during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 84th minute of the match Paul Hulsebos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paul Hulsebos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Paul Hulsebos hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
