Marco Lucius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gilbert Terpstra made a huge save. Kevin Bult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Deijkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gilbert Terpstra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Lucius in the 14th minute. In the 17th match minute, Gijzel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Jacobs to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Bult showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Oosterveld in the 19th minute of the match. Junne FC's Kevin Bult played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Oosterveld in the 23rd minute of play. Marco Lucius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Bouwman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gilbert Terpstra 27 minutes into the match. Marco Lucius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Terpstra having to interfere. A collision led to Gijzel FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gert Jacobs hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Aad Deijnen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gijzel FC's Gilbert Terpstra didn't even have to move. Alfred Bouwman took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Terpstra. Gilbert Terpstra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Ferdi Deijkers came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Gijzel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdi Deijkers couldn't finish the play. Gijzel FC's Gilbert Terpstra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Bouwman in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Bouwman to make the kick off. Daan Lanting hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Gijzel FC's Gilbert Terpstra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Lucius in the 59th minute of play. Ferdi Deijkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Bult having to interfere. Marinus Zimmer kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Alfred Bouwman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ferdi Deijkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Terpstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Bouwman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sjors Stigt during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes, Junne FC's Gerrit Enzing shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbert Terpstra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Junne FC reached it. Pascall Oude Kamphuis charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascall Oude Kamphuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Junne FC's Pascall Oude Kamphuis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gilbert Terpstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Bouwman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Junne FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gijzel FC for a fine match.
