Arjen Eisenga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kattenbroek booed when Tjummarum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arjen Eisenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Meertens received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilco Kloppenburg came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Meertens slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Sjoerd van Zwieten lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kattenbroek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Stefano Blank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Hendriks, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Marinus Batenburg's late challenge caught a Tjummarum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Tjummarum's Mario Rinzema in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Japke van Gessel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Japke van Gessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute.
