Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Koen Adelaar kicked off to start the match. Harris Meerdink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Hofmeester in the 3rd minute of play. When Pepijn Roewen fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Overschie HC's protests and gave Pepijn Roewen a yellow card for diving instead. Pepijn Roewen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of Noldijk booed when Overschie HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gooitzen Borst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frits Eggens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koen Adelaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Koen Adelaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frits Eggens having to make a save. Harris Meerdink was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Olaf Hofmeester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olaf Hofmeester really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Koen Adelaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Noldijk got a freekick which was hit by Joris Smits. Koen Adelaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Frits Eggens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frits Eggens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koen Adelaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Hofmeester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Noldijk's zone, Olaf Hofmeester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harris Meerdink came out of the goal and Olaf Hofmeester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Noldijk defense, Olaf Hofmeester kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harris Meerdink. The Noldijk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harris Meerdink should have stopped the shot. Olaf Hofmeester struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Harris Meerdink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Overschie HC. After 64 played minutes Overschie HC got a freekick which was hit by Tonnie Kuypers. Maurits Caluwé was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Noldijk's Harris Meerdink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepijn Roewen in the 69th minute of play. Harris Meerdink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepijn Roewen's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Gerald Daems came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frits Eggens could save by the left post. Harris Meerdink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepijn Roewen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Overschie HC's Frits Eggens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Nyemanting in the 93rd minute of play. Frits Eggens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koen Adelaar in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Overschie HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Noldijk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
