Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bennie Mussies made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Kuzemer HC booed when Haaren HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Alberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Jans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elco Mosselveld. Haaren HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jorn Zwarthoet's late challenge caught a Haaren HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorn Zwarthoet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Kuzemer HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Zwarthoet to maneuver through the defense. Bennie Mussies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Elco Mosselveld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Achterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Corné van Loo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Twan Kleiker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haaren HC's Gerrit Elst got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With splendid footwork Corné van Loo arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 34th minute. Bennie Mussies might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elco Mosselveld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennie Mussies ran back to his position shaking his head. Elco Mosselveld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Achterberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corné van Loo to strike the kick off in the second half. Twan Kleiker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Elst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerrit Elst's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Twan Kleiker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Kuzemer HC's Twan Kleiker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Elst in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ryan Stuijt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Corné van Loo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Twan Kleiker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Alberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit Elst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Twan Kleiker having to interfere. Elco Mosselveld made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Ernest Achterberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Haaren HC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Max de Jong hit a great ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Haaren HC's goalkeeper Elco Mosselveld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernest Achterberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Elco Mosselveld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuzemer HC. After a defensive mix-up in Kuzemer HC's zone, Gerrit Elst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Twan Kleiker came out of the goal and Gerrit Elst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jorn Zwarthoet was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes Kuzemer HC got a freekick which was hit by Jorn Zwarthoet. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kuzemer HC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Haaren HC.
