Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bram Koerts took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Woudsend HC's zone, Cobus Pik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristof Friebel came out of the goal and Cobus Pik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfred Waldijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Oosterhof, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bram Koerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Wilfred Waldijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Woudsend HC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gert de Wolf hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Woudsend HC's goalkeeper Kristof Friebel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Woudsend HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert de Wolf to maneuver through the defense. Veeningen FC's Cobus Pik got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfred Waldijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Koerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristof Friebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cobus Pik in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Veeningen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rein Bennink. Woudsend HC's Bram Koerts got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bram Koerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfred Waldijk having to interfere. Wilfred Waldijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Koerts in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cobus Pik to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tom Stroeve came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Veeningen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Stroeve couldn't finish the play. Cobus Pik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristof Friebel having to interfere. If Tom Stroeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Veeningen FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ed de Ridder hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes Veeningen FC got a freekick which was hit by Tom Stroeve. Cobus Pik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Woudsend HC's Bram Koerts got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bram Koerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristof Friebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cobus Pik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bram Oosterhof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bram Oosterhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfred Waldijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Koerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cobus Pik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristof Friebel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Stroeve, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bram Oosterhof struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Wilfred Waldijk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woudsend HC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
