Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gerard Booy made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Hulsberg booed when Deersum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arie Collins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hulsberg's Jan Hendrik Ruiter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Hulsberg from getting a goal against them. Luuk Saeijs kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jelle van Bommel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Smits in the 23rd minute of play forced Deersum FC's goalkeeper Arjen Atsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arie Collins hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Tonnie Kroeze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deersum FC's Arjen Atsma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Victor Smits came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Hulsberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Smits couldn't finish the play. Tonnie Kroeze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Atsma having to interfere. With a little luck, Hulsberg's Jan Hendrik Ruiter got control of the ball when Joop Swart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerard Booy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Hendrik Ruiter having to make a save. If Joop Swart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Victor Smits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arjen Atsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Booy in the 61st minute of play forced Hulsberg's goalkeeper Jan Hendrik Ruiter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiaan van Harten hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jan Hendrik Ruiter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Booy in the 65th minute of the match. Gerard Booy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Hendrik Ruiter having to make a save. Jan Hendrik Ruiter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Booy in the 69th minute of play. Deersum FC's Arjen Atsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Smits in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Luuk Saeijs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deersum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hulsberg the free kick. In the 75th minute, Luuk Saeijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulsberg's Jelle van Bommel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deersum FC. After some careless play in the Hulsberg defense, Gerard Booy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Hendrik Ruiter. The Hulsberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Hendrik Ruiter should have stopped the shot. Deersum FC's Arjen Atsma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Deersum FC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Hulsberg's Jelle van Bommel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jouke Wemers hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Arjen Atsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Smits in the 95th minute of the match. Tonnie Kroeze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Arjen Atsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
