In the 28th minute, Noordhoek's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ralf Kiewiet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ramon Blank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jurre Plescher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Knuppel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Baar's Marcel Degenkamp broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Martien Weerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurre Plescher was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The supporters of Baar booed when Noordhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Collen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Noordhoek got a freekick which was hit by Richard Tonnis. Ralf Kiewiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Haydon having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Pieter Knuppel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter Knuppel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurre Plescher made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Martien Weerman sent off a good shot on target. Baar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
