Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nymegen's Falco de Graaf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maikel Daems made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Kiewiet in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Falco de Graaf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Plescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurre Plescher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Izaak Schol went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the game, Richard Reints was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nymegen the free kick. After 9 played minutes Baar got a freekick which was hit by Richard Reints. Maikel Daems showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Kiewiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Hans Saanen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Rogier Ronde came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Baar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogier Ronde couldn't finish the play. Falco de Graaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nymegen's Maikel Daems played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Kiewiet in the 28th minute of play. Jurre Plescher was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Falco de Graaf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. Jurre Plescher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Graaff in the 36th minute of play. Maikel Daems showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Kiewiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Kiewiet in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maikel Daems saved Nymegen from getting behind. Nymegen's Maikel Daems played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogier Ronde in the 41st minute of play. Izaak Schol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcel Graaff fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nymegen's protests and gave Marcel Graaff a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Graaff kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Richard Reints missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Maikel Daems right hand side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogier Ronde made a kick off. Falco de Graaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Nymegen's Maikel Daems got control of the ball when Ralf Kiewiet tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Nymegen's goalkeeper Maikel Daems had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Kiewiet. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rogier Ronde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baar's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogier Ronde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maikel Daems breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Kiewiet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Maikel Daems made a huge save. Baar were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Nymegen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Degenkamp took the corner. The corner ended in Marcel Degenkamp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nymegen's Maikel Daems did a great save. 73 minutes into the match, Baar's goal looked a bit too open when Izaak Schol came free, but Jurre Plescher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Kiewiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurre Plescher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izaak Schol in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izaak Schol in the 91st minute of play forced Baar's goalkeeper Jurre Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Ralf Kiewiet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maikel Daems was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nymegen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
