Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jouke Pieters got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Welp's Klaas Sanders got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Jouke Pieters came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Huins FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jouke Pieters couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Elco Rolink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huins FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elco Rolink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Barends breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Frank van Bronckhorst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Welp and the Huins FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank van Bronckhorst hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ivo Degenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Pieter Schepers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Kremer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Barends having to interfere. Jordi Kaspers's late challenge caught a Huins FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordi Kaspers helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Welp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Kaspers to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Welp! In the 37th minute, Gido Eefting got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Welp's goal looked a bit too open when Jouke Pieters came free, but Gerard Barends reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jouke Pieters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pieter Schepers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gido Eefting in the 43rd minute of play. Ivo Degenkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pieter Schepers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gido Eefting made the kick off in the second half. Eddy Kremer struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Gerard Barends didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huins FC. If Eddy Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Welp's zone, Eddy Kremer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Barends came out of the goal and Eddy Kremer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eddy Kremer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddy Kremer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Barends having to interfere. Gerard Barends showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jouke Pieters in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Welp got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Degenkamp. Heiko Stroobos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Huins FC's Pieter Schepers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gido Eefting in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Jouke Pieters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerard Barends showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Heinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Elroy Borg charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elroy Borg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Welp players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Huins FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
