Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Botshol's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Huizen came free, but Jan Roorda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Berkhout booed when Botshol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tieleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The player immediately received a yellow card. 17 minutes into the game, one of Botshol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rudolf de Zaaijer's late challenge caught a Berkhout's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf de Zaaijer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Gerrit Niekamp skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Roeland Plagge fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berkhout's protests and gave Roeland Plagge a yellow card for diving instead. Gerrit Niekamp made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Rudolf de Zaaijer sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when René Zeegelaar made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sjoerd van Zaanen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Roorda, 0-2. 60 minutes into the match, Henry Nedergaard notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Botshol's Jan Roorda. Rudolf de Zaaijer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berkhout's Gerrit Niekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by René Zeegelaar in the 96th minute of play.
