When Bent HC's Daniel Lans in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Veeningen's goalie prevented a goal. Carel Haremeijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Schaap having to interfere. Jan Roetering took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiel Schaap. Veeningen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Veeningen's Florian Ottens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruud Tijink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem van Galen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willem van Galen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Emiel Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lans in the 24th minute of play. Emiel Schaap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Lans in the 25th minute of the match. Emiel Schaap didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Lans went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ruud Tijink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk-Jan Bouwens in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Veeningen's zone, Carel Haremeijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiel Schaap came out of the goal and Carel Haremeijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carel Haremeijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Schaap having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Veeningen's Humberto Trip got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Florian Ottens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veeningen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Ottens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Dirk-Jan Bouwens made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Florian Ottens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veeningen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Ottens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 minutes, Felix Staal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veeningen and the Bent HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Veeningen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Staal hit a great ball. Daniel Lans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiel Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carel Haremeijer in the 57th minute of play. Veeningen's Emiel Schaap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Lans in the 59th minute of play. Carel Haremeijer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiel Schaap having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Gerben Baardmam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk-Jan Bouwens in the 68th minute of play forced Bent HC's goalkeeper Ruud Tijink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bent HC's goalkeeper Ruud Tijink, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carel Haremeijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Schaap having to interfere. Bent HC's Daniel Lans managed to work through Veeningen's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Daniel Lans dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 86thth minute of the game Carel Haremeijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veeningen's Emiel Schaap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dirk-Jan Bouwens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ruud Tijink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lans struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Emiel Schaap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bent HC. Bent HC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerben Baardmam in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bent HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Veeningen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
