Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pascall Warneke kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Zandhoek FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Emiel Bruintjes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zandhoek FC's zone, Gerard Heinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huib Moorman came out of the goal and Gerard Heinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wouter Nyemanting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Huib Moorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Zandhoek FC got a freekick which was hit by Klaas de Zwart. With a little luck, Giessenburg FC's Daniël Cornelisse got control of the ball when Andreas Ricksen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wouter Nyemanting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniël Cornelisse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Wesveld in the 21st minute of play. Wouter Nyemanting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Huib Moorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Pascall Warneke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huib Moorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Giessenburg FC's Pascall Warneke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huib Moorman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elroy Heesen's late challenge caught a Zandhoek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elroy Heesen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Giessenburg FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Elroy Heesen hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Zandhoek FC got a corner. Giessenburg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gert Grol ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Zandhoek FC's corner Gert Grol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniël Cornelisse quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Wouter Nyemanting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giessenburg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wouter Nyemanting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascall Warneke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huib Moorman having to interfere. Zandhoek FC's Huib Moorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascall Warneke in the 42nd minute of play. When Giessenburg FC's Wouter Nyemanting in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zandhoek FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wouter Nyemanting struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Huib Moorman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giessenburg FC. In the 47th minute, Marco Bergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andre Wesveld to strike the kick off in the second half. Huib Moorman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascall Warneke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giessenburg FC's Gerard Heinen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zandhoek FC. Philip Sterenberg's late challenge caught a Giessenburg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Sterenberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Giessenburg FC booed when Zandhoek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Sterenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huib Moorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascall Warneke, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Zandhoek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Pruischer to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Giessenburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Wesveld came free, but Daniël Cornelisse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Ricksen took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniël Cornelisse. Daniël Cornelisse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wouter Nyemanting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wouter Nyemanting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Huib Moorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascall Warneke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zandhoek FC's Marco Bergen got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Marco Bergen off the ground. 88 minutes into the match, Giessenburg FC's Gerard Heinen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Giessenburg FC's Jens Hummel got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Pascall Warneke came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Giessenburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascall Warneke couldn't finish the play. Zandhoek FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Giessenburg FC had controlled the match.
