With a little luck, Papenhoven's Anton Savenije got control of the ball when Jelle Haas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sander Spierenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Paul Moorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jelle Haas might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Savenije. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jelle Haas ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Papenhoven's Sander Spierenburg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Moorman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ben Duinhoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Savenije having to interfere. Jelle Haas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Anton Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Moorman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sander Spierenburg's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The supporters of Dortherhoek booed when Papenhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Denneboom didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jelle Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Papenhoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Denneboom to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Papenhoven's Sander Spierenburg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Moorman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Sander Spierenburg came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Papenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sander Spierenburg couldn't finish the play. If Jelle Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Dortherhoek a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roy Ensing, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Papenhoven's Anton Savenije. 3-1. Anton Savenije made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Jelle Haas sent off a good shot on target. Papenhoven's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
