Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Meindert Oosting managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieuwenhagen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Meindert Oosting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits van der Linden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bill Grijp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roeland Nijhof having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nieuwenhagen FC's zone, Martin van der Vaart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roeland Nijhof came out of the goal and Martin van der Vaart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roeland Nijhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin van der Vaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill Grijp got free with Roeland Nijhof in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Meindert Oosting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meindert Oosting struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Frits van der Linden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieuwenhagen FC. After a rather tough play, Roordahuizum's Gijs Jeronimus got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cees Bont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits van der Linden having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Roordahuizum's Rogier de Jager got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Ruud van Damme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roordahuizum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nieuwenhagen FC the free kick. Meindert Oosting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Frits van der Linden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bill Grijp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roeland Nijhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin van der Vaart in the 39th minute of play. Fabiën Degens hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Bill Grijp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roeland Nijhof was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jan-Joost Som kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Bill Grijp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roeland Nijhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nieuwenhagen FC booed when Roordahuizum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Oost didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Fabiën Degens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frits van der Linden skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Bill Grijp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roordahuizum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bill Grijp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Martin van der Vaart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nieuwenhagen FC's Roeland Nijhof was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cees Bont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cees Bont got free with Frits van der Linden in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Martin van der Vaart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cees Bont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits van der Linden having to interfere. If Meindert Oosting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Roordahuizum had won after a very even match.
