Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Edgard Dijkstra fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azelo's protests and gave Edgard Dijkstra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Azelo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Edgard Dijkstra hit a great ball. When Martin van der Vaart came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Roordahuizum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin van der Vaart couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Bill Grijp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Martin van der Vaart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roordahuizum's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin van der Vaart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Zoetmulder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute Martin van der Vaart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Roordahuizum's Martin van der Vaart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Zoetmulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roordahuizum's Bill Grijp got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin van der Vaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Zoetmulder having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Azelo's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Grijp came free, but Leon Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Roordahuizum got a freekick which was hit by Stijn Konterman. In the 34thth minute of the game Bill Grijp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azelo's Leon Zoetmulder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Roordahuizum getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gijs Jeronimus hit a great ball. Martien Rodenboog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Frits van der Linden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Spannenburg in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Fokke Plaggenborg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azelo and the Roordahuizum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Fokke Plaggenborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Philip Spannenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Azelo's goal looked a bit too open when Martin van der Vaart came free, but Leon Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits van der Linden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pepijn Geurtsen's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilco Timmerman during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilco Timmerman kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The Roordahuizum players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Azelo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
