Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Langeweegje's Anthony Eulen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geert Vaalman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Zuiverloon came out and tried to block the shot, but Geert Vaalman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 12th minute, Diermen's Carlo Wilbrink dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacco Pothuizen got free with Robert Zuiverloon in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes of play, Langeweegje's Dennis Meijer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeroen Ensing was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Langeweegje's Anthony Eulen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeroen Ensing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 26 played minutes Langeweegje got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Eulen. In the 27th minute, Jacco Pothuizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Langeweegje's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Wilbrink came free, but Robert Zuiverloon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacco Pothuizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Robert Zuiverloon made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Jacco Pothuizen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Robert Zuiverloon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlo Wilbrink showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 35 minute of play. If Dennis Meijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Wilbrink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Zuiverloon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Wilbrink's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Dennis Meijers short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Jeroen Ensing to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerrit Baalen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Anthony Eulen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Diermen's zone, Anthony Eulen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeroen Ensing came out of the goal and Anthony Eulen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Boerma hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Robert Zuiverloon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Wilbrink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niels Sneijder kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jacco Pothuizen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diermen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacco Pothuizen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Zuiverloon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Wilbrink in the 80th minute of play forced Langeweegje's goalkeeper Robert Zuiverloon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Langeweegje! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Diermen. Gertjan van der Meijde stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robert Zuiverloon. 4-3. Jacco Pothuizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Eulen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeroen Ensing having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Diermen's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Eulen came free, but Jeroen Ensing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacco Pothuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diermen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Langeweegje for a fine match.
