Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leendert Hofs made the kick off which started today's match. Max Ter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Hoogsteen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henk-Jan Boelens hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Opperduit's Alwin Roswinkel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Nijetrijne's Tonnie Witting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Ter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Max Ter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonnie Witting in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leendert Hofs in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sjors Zoetebier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tonnie Witting succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 27th playminute. Leendert Hofs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sjors Zoetebier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Carlo Hoogsteen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nijetrijne's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Hoogsteen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Ter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leendert Hofs in the 40th minute of play forced Nijetrijne's goalkeeper Sjors Zoetebier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nijetrijne's Sjors Zoetebier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leendert Hofs in the 42nd minute of play. Alwin Roswinkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Zoetebier having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlo Hoogsteen made a kick off. Carlo Hoogsteen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Max Ter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leendert Hofs scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sjors Zoetebier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sjors Zoetebier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leendert Hofs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alwin Roswinkel in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sjors Zoetebier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Max Ter came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Nijetrijne's Tonnie Witting. But to his dismay, Tonnie Witting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Alwin Roswinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Opperduit's Leendert Hofs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sjors Zoetebier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Opperduit getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alwin van Asseldonk hit a great ball. If Tonnie Witting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Hoogsteen struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Max Ter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nijetrijne. Max Ter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Hoogsteen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Henk-Jan Boelens's late challenge caught a Opperduit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk-Jan Boelens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Henk-Jan Boelens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Nijetrijne's goal looked a bit too open when Leendert Hofs came free, but Sjors Zoetebier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Leendert Hofs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nijetrijne's Sjors Zoetebier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Leendert Hofs took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Sjors Zoetebier to make any attempt to save it. Nijetrijne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Opperduit for a fine match.
