Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stef Gerrits started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Martin Bruinsma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kortendijk HC and the Sneek players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Martin Bruinsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Palsma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Kortendijk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Arjen Ijsselhof came free, but Elco Rodenboog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harmen Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Evert Schoonderwoerd made a huge save. When Kortendijk HC's Stef Gerrits in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sneek's goalie prevented a goal. Kortendijk HC's Elco Rodenboog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Palsma in the 14th minute of play. Harmen Oss might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evert Schoonderwoerd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harmen Oss ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 24 minutes, Harmen Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kortendijk HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harmen Oss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stef Gerrits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Schoonderwoerd having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Henry Heijen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sneek and the Kortendijk HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sneek getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Henry Heijen hit a great ball. Harmen Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Evert Schoonderwoerd made a huge save. Evert Schoonderwoerd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stef Gerrits in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sneek's Aad Luikens got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Giel de Bruin fired a really elegant long shot, but Evert Schoonderwoerd threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Harmen Oss could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Evert Schoonderwoerd made a huge save. Evert Schoonderwoerd made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Harmen Oss sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute, Ralf Randag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Henry Heijen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elco Rodenboog skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Palsma made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Stef Gerrits managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kortendijk HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stef Gerrits was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert-Jan Redan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harmen Oss in the 56th minute of play forced Sneek's goalkeeper Evert Schoonderwoerd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sjoerd Staarman fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kortendijk HC's protests and gave Sjoerd Staarman a yellow card for diving instead. Sjoerd Staarman kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Elco Rodenboog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arjen Ijsselhof showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Robert-Jan Redan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Harmen Oss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Schoonderwoerd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stef Gerrits in the 71st minute of the match. Stef Gerrits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Evert Schoonderwoerd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Sneek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Trenning to maneuver through the defense. Giel de Bruin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Anton Palsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elco Rodenboog having to interfere. A collision led to Kortendijk HC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sjoerd Staarman hit a great ball. Elco Rodenboog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Palsma in the 92nd minute of play. Evert Schoonderwoerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harmen Oss in the 95th minute of play. The Sneek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
