Klaas Jan Caluwé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Co Tuyp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Geurtsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Co Tuyp having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Landhorst FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Boswijk to maneuver through the defense. Klaas Jan Caluwé blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Co Tuyp having to make a save. Co Tuyp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Caluwé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Hoiting's late challenge caught a Landhorst FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Hoiting helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Plein getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Oliver Hoiting hit a great ball. Andre Zwaanswijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gertjan Haydon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Zwaanswijk in the 33rd minute of play forced Plein's goalkeeper Gertjan Haydon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harm Hofs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gertjan Haydon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Zwaanswijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gertjan Haydon having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Landhorst FC's Harm Hofs made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gertjan Haydon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Klaas Jan Caluwé made the kick off in the second half. When Falco de Witte fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landhorst FC's protests and gave Falco de Witte a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Landhorst FC got a freekick which was hit by Falco de Witte. Klaas Jan Caluwé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Co Tuyp having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Klaas Jan Caluwé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaas Jan Caluwé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harm Hofs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaap Boerma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gertjan Haydon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Landhorst FC's Co Tuyp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Geurtsen in the 88th minute of play. Co Tuyp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Geurtsen in the 89th minute of play. Ted Geurtsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Klaas Jan Caluwé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaas Jan Caluwé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Plein's Klaas Jan Caluwé in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Landhorst FC's goalie prevented a goal.
