Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kees van Zaanen made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Mart Need sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Ridder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christijan Riemers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christijan Riemers in the 8th minute of play forced Snellestein's goalkeeper Stefan Ridder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes, Snellestein's Jef de Nooijer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kees van Zaanen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Snellestein reached it. After having played for 10 minutes, Mart Need managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Snellestein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mart Need was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Snellestein booed when Vlaas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vlaas FC's Kees van Zaanen got control of the ball when Mart Need tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacco Ponk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Roland van der Sar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Snellestein got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Joost Stuijt. Roland van der Sar scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Ridder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th play minute Mart Need came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kees van Zaanen. 1-1. If Christijan Riemers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cees Pluym during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vlaas FC booed when Snellestein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cees Pluym didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Ridder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland van der Sar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Christijan Riemers struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Stefan Ridder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlaas FC. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snellestein's goalkeeper Stefan Ridder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dirk Schophuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vlaas FC's Kees van Zaanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Schophuis in the 52nd minute of play. Henny Boshuis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Schophuis in the 55th minute of play forced Vlaas FC's goalkeeper Kees van Zaanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Christijan Riemers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefan Ridder. Christijan Riemers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Vlaas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mart Need came free, but Kees van Zaanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henny Boshuis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Henny Boshuis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mart Need fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kees van Zaanen having to interfere. Dirk Schophuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirk Schophuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kees van Zaanen having to interfere. Damien Kip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Ridder having to interfere. Roland van der Sar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Stefan Ridder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vlaas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
