Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivo Hulzebos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stijn Cranenburgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus de Haan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Hulzebos in the 5th minute of play forced Lidlum's goalkeeper Stijn Cranenburgh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hengeveld FC's Rafael Pierewaaijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Kooij in the 7th minute of play. Rafael Pierewaaijer made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Frederik Kooij sent off a good shot on target. Lidlum's Stijn Cranenburgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christijan Harms in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Vincent Siemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Lidlum's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Snijders came free, but Stijn Cranenburgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Ab Kikkert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lidlum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hengeveld FC the free kick. The supporters of Hengeveld FC booed when Lidlum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ab Kikkert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Niels Stigt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stijn Cranenburgh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Olaf Snijders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lidlum's Stijn Cranenburgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Snijders in the 28th minute of play. Ab Kikkert kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Christijan Harms hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Frederik Kooij tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Pierewaaijer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olaf Snijders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stijn Cranenburgh having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the match, Lidlum's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Hulzebos came free, but Stijn Cranenburgh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lidlum's zone, Olaf Snijders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stijn Cranenburgh came out of the goal and Olaf Snijders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Eddy Werner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Pierewaaijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus de Haan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ivo Hulzebos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddy Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rafael Pierewaaijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Snijders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hengeveld FC's Ivo Hulzebos has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on Lidlum's corner René Luirink fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Pierewaaijer quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hengeveld FC's Ivo Hulzebos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stijn Cranenburgh. That made the score 0-1 after 90 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
