Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Buskes in the 4th minute of play forced Lutjewolde's goalkeeper Gert Jan Veentjer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mart Sijmonds hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gert Jan Veentjer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricky Brürs went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lutjewolde's zone, Barry Buskes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Jan Veentjer came out of the goal and Barry Buskes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricky Brürs struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gert Jan Veentjer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zennewijnen Eendracht. In the 23rd match minute, Lutjewolde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiaan Hammen to maneuver through the defense. Lutjewolde's Gert Jan Veentjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Brürs in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zennewijnen Eendracht's Marco Heesen got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jean-Paul Maseland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Hammen in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The crowd rose to their feet as Ricky Brürs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gert Jan Veentjer. That made the score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. The Zennewijnen Eendracht fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Zennewijnen Eendracht's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
