Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Diderik Drent started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, one of Purmer HC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Zaarvlaas HC. Egbert Bergmeester stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Japke Platvoet. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Mark van der Valk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diderik Drent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Japke Platvoet having to interfere. Niels Saenens short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Japke Platvoet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jens van Steensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Marco Geerdink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zaarvlaas HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purmer HC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zaarvlaas HC's Marco Geerdink got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Jens van Steensel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Purmer HC booed when Zaarvlaas HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark van der Valk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubert Ostermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Numan. Zaarvlaas HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Niels Saenen succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Mathias Roeles took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Numan. Kristian Numan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Japke Platvoet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diderik Drent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Roeles to strike the kick off in the second half. Egbert Bergmeester made a great header on Zaarvlaas HC's corner, it was just that Purmer HC's Japke Platvoet managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Purmer HC's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Saenen came free, but Japke Platvoet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niels Saenen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diderik Drent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bertus Berg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purmer HC's protests and gave Bertus Berg a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Purmer HC got a freekick which was hit by Bertus Berg. Jens van Steensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Niels Saenen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Zaarvlaas HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niels Saenen couldn't finish the play. Kristian Numan made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jens van Steensel sent off a good shot on target. Japke Platvoet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diderik Drent in the 86th minute of play. Jens van Steensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Numan having to interfere. Jens van Steensel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Kristian Numan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purmer HC. 93 minutes into the match, Zaarvlaas HC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Roeles came free, but Kristian Numan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
