With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Schreuder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Joost Eylens charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Joost Eylens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teun Robbermond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thijs Dekkers came out and tried to block the shot, but Teun Robbermond slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kristian Bender made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxe HC's goalkeeper Thijs Dekkers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tom van Schaik kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Kristian Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun Robbermond in the 70th minute of play forced Oxe HC's goalkeeper Thijs Dekkers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Schreuder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Bosma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teun Robbermond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Dekkers having to interfere.
