Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stefano Mook started the match with the kick off. Vennen HC's Stefano Mook got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nathan van Asseldonk kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nathan van Asseldonk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jef Oorschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vennen HC's Nathan van Asseldonk in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harbrinkhoek HC's goalie prevented a goal. Jef Oorschot came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vennen HC's Nathan van Asseldonk. But to his dismay, Nathan van Asseldonk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vennen HC's zone, Billy Warringa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristof Breinburg came out of the goal and Billy Warringa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Cor van den Eede notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vennen HC's Kristof Breinburg. Kristof Breinburg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Vennen HC defense, Billy Warringa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristof Breinburg. The Vennen HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristof Breinburg should have stopped the shot. When Egbert Brandsma fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vennen HC's protests and gave Egbert Brandsma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Vennen HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Brandsma to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Egbert Brandsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karel Adams kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Kenneth de Boer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Stefano Mook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harbrinkhoek HC's Jelte Baaijen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kristof Breinburg but with some difficulty. Stefano Mook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Oorschot having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Stefano Mook got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nathan van Asseldonk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Mook in the 70th minute of play forced Harbrinkhoek HC's goalkeeper Jef Oorschot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Marco Zeydeveld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Vennen HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Mook to maneuver through the defense. Cor van den Eede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cor van den Eede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kristof Breinburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vennen HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Harbrinkhoek HC's performance. The match ended with a win for Harbrinkhoek HC.
