Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karel Rekers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Youri Daniels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stijn Barends was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roland Roswinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drijber HC's goalkeeper Stijn Barends, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Geelbroek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Daniels to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Karel Rekers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Willem Spierenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Drijber HC defense, Youri Daniels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stijn Barends. The Drijber HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stijn Barends should have stopped the shot. Karel Rekers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stijn Barends showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Roswinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Youri Daniels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Geelbroek FC defense, Barry Kromme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Willem Spierenburg. The Geelbroek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Willem Spierenburg should have stopped the shot. Stijn Barends took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Daniels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Drijber HC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Joost Lucius. When Geelbroek FC's Roland Roswinkel in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drijber HC's goalie prevented a goal. If Karel Rekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roland Roswinkel to make the kick off. Denny Zeegelaar charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denny Zeegelaar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Geelbroek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Zeegelaar to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Geelbroek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karel Rekers came free, but Jan-Willem Spierenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drijber HC's Huib Iemberge got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Youri Daniels spun around in front of the goal 64 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Drijber HC's goal. Geelbroek FC's Roland Roswinkel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Drijber HC's Huib Iemberge got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Geelbroek FC booed when Drijber HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiel de Vries didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Geelbroek FC's corner Gio Hegeman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stijn Barends quite easily take care of the ball. Youri Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Stijn Barends tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Youri Daniels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Geelbroek FC's Roland Roswinkel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stijn Barends was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stijn Barends took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Roswinkel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geelbroek FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
