Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stefan Kroeze got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westrik FC's goalkeeper Roderick den Engelsman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerrie Holthuis in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harm Pool saved Hintam FC from getting behind. Stefan Kroeze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harm Pool having to interfere. Eddy Ieberink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick den Engelsman having to interfere. Philip Hummel's late challenge caught a Westrik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Hummel helped the player get up and apologised. Philip Hummel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gerrie Holthuis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Harm Pool didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westrik FC. Eddy Ieberink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick den Engelsman having to interfere. Guus Scheerhoorn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Hummel got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gerrie Holthuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harm Pool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Kroeze in the 37th minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Klaas Jan Zimmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westrik FC and the Hintam FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klaas Jan Zimmer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Eddy Ieberink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddy Ieberink made a kick off. If Klaas Jan Zimmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrie Holthuis got free with Harm Pool in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klaas Jan Zimmer was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes Westrik FC got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Jan Zimmer. The supporters of Hintam FC booed when Westrik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eelco de Vries didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Arno Vroom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hintam FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westrik FC the free kick. A collision led to Hintam FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arno Vroom hit a great ball. Harm Pool was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stefan Kroeze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 79 minute of play. When Eelco de Vries fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westrik FC's protests and gave Eelco de Vries a yellow card for diving instead. Eddy Ieberink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick den Engelsman having to interfere. Gerrie Holthuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harm Pool having to interfere. The Hintam FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Westrik FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Westrik FC.
