After a rather tough play, Schoterzijl HC's Gerjan Daverveld got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Remco Reitsma kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Schoterzijl HC's Ralf Tieman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egbert Huisman. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the game, one of Enter FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Egbert Huisman, was totally fooled by Schoterzijl HC's Ferry Lans, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ralf Tieman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Egbert Huisman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Schoterzijl HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Ooijer came free, but Martien Beukenkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Schoterzijl HC's zone, Ruud Ooijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martien Beukenkamp came out of the goal and Ruud Ooijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Paul van Dijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Martien Beukenkamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Schoterzijl HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Schaeffer to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schoterzijl HC's goalkeeper Martien Beukenkamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giel van der Wiel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Schoterzijl HC booed when Enter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giel van der Wiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Schoterzijl HC's Ferry Lans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egbert Huisman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schoterzijl HC reached it. Ruud Ooijer struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Martien Beukenkamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enter FC. After 46 played minutes Schoterzijl HC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Abbenbroek.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Tieman made a kick off. Kristian Wermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Egbert Huisman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Ralf Tieman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Egbert Huisman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ruud Ooijer came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Enter FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruud Ooijer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Enter FC booed when Schoterzijl HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Schaeffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Enter FC got a freekick which was hit by Remco Reitsma. Ralf Tieman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Egbert Huisman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egbert Huisman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Wermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jean-Paul van Dijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Schoterzijl HC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Drent. The supporters of Schoterzijl HC booed when Enter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remco Reitsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Kristian Wermans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schoterzijl HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Wermans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egbert Huisman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Enter FC's Jean-Paul van Dijk got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enter FC's goalkeeper Egbert Huisman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egbert Huisman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Tieman in the 87th minute of play. Remco Reitsma kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Egbert Huisman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Wermans in the 89th minute of play. Schoterzijl HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
