An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Caluwé in the 14th minute of play forced Verwolde's goalkeeper Lennart Kroeze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes Enter FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Paul van Dijk. Egbert Huisman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Klerk in the 17th minute of the match. Enter FC's Ruud Ooijer got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Kroeze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Caluwé in the 22nd minute of the match. Ruud Ooijer's late challenge caught a Verwolde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Enter FC's Peter Baaijen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Klaas Klerk struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute Harold Caluwé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Kroeze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Klerk struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Egbert Huisman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verwolde. Egbert Huisman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaas Klerk in the 82nd minute. Ruud Ooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lennart Kroeze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ruud Ooijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Jurjen Rueda from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Egbert Huisman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Henry Siepel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Enter FC were the better team. Enter FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
