Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maurice Sluis started the match with the kick off. Wilfried Plenter came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Ypelo's Wim van Amersfoort. But to his dismay, Wim van Amersfoort quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Ypelo's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Evers came free, but Foeke Geers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Paauwenburg HC's Klaas Evers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Foeke Geers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hubert van Someren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Wilfried Plenter made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ate Wilmink kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilfried Plenter. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Hubert van Someren took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfried Plenter. Wilfried Plenter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Wilfried Plenter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurice Sluis's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. If David Karremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Maurice Sluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ate Wilmink hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ypelo's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Evers came free, but Foeke Geers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, David Karremans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paauwenburg HC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Karremans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Foeke Geers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Karremans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Foeke Geers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Karremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Klaas Evers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Foeke Geers having to make a save. Foeke Geers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Karremans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 55 minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Klaas Evers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Foeke Geers. Ypelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klaas Evers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Ate Wilmink charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ate Wilmink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ypelo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ate Wilmink hit a great ball. Hubert van Someren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Ypelo's goal looked a bit too open when David Karremans came free, but Foeke Geers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hubert van Someren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paauwenburg HC's zone, Hubert van Someren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfried Plenter came out of the goal and Hubert van Someren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Ypelo's Maurice Sluis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfried Plenter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paauwenburg HC's goalkeeper Wilfried Plenter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hubert van Someren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ypelo's Hubert van Someren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfried Plenter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfried Plenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert van Someren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ypelo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
