When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Rudolf Melker took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilfried Plenter to make any attempt to save it. Klaas Evers hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Boschheurne FC's Rudolf Melker got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jelle Witting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Evers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Boschheurne FC's zone, David Karremans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jelle Witting came out of the goal and David Karremans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Melker in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfried Plenter saved Paauwenburg HC from getting behind. Jelle Witting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kees Elders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klaas Evers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Bill Waard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boschheurne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bill Waard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfried Plenter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Paauwenburg HC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kees Elders hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Klaas Evers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerben Dijkstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Paauwenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerben Dijkstra came free, but Wilfried Plenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peter Klasens fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paauwenburg HC's protests and gave Peter Klasens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Paauwenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Klasens to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Melker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfried Plenter having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Boschheurne FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Karremans came free, but Jelle Witting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boschheurne FC's Jelle Witting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Boschheurne FC from getting a goal against them. David Karremans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jelle Witting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Paauwenburg HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Elders to maneuver through the defense. Wilfried Plenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Melker in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Rudolf Melker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Kees Elders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paauwenburg HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boschheurne FC the free kick. The supporters of Boschheurne FC booed when Paauwenburg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Elders didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerben Dijkstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Melker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boschheurne FC fully deserved thier win.
