Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute, Michael Kroon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 3 played minutes Schalsberg got a freekick which was hit by Ron de Hondt. Michael Kroon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Barry van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron de Hondt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry van Damme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Kroon's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Govert Dongen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Schalsberg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Govert Dongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjaak Zoontjens having to interfere. Jacques de Ridder in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sjaak Zoontjens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Ooy HC's Douwe Bouma got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Govert Dongen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sjaak Zoontjens. Govert Dongen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mark Clarijs kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Ooy HC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mark Clarijs hit a great ball. Ooy HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Govert Dongen scored to the left of an out of position Sjaak Zoontjens, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Rein Westerink to make the kick off. Barry van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Kroon, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Jan Rein Westerink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ooy HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Rein Westerink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Ooy HC's goal looked a bit too open when Govert Dongen came free, but Sjaak Zoontjens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Rein Westerink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Schalsberg booed when Ooy HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Rein Westerink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ooy HC's Sjaak Zoontjens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques de Ridder in the 75th minute of play. Sjaak Zoontjens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govert Dongen in the 79th minute of the match. Jan Rein Westerink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry van Damme having to interfere. Sjaak Zoontjens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques de Ridder, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd minute, Douwe Bouma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Douwe Bouma fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ooy HC's protests and gave Douwe Bouma a yellow card for diving instead. Douwe Bouma kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Schalsberg's goalkeeper Barry van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Kroon. 94 minutes into the match, Michael Kroon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barry van Damme. Schalsberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Kroon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
