Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Langeberg FC's Serge Akkerman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Derk Spiering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Wittendorp, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, David Teuben made a precise shot to the right of Derk Spiering. Langeberg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Dave Saenen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Wellenseind FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Akkerman came free, but Nico-Jan Luirink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derk Spiering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Teuben in the 13th minute of the match. Serge Akkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Wellenseind FC's goalkeeper Nico-Jan Luirink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Staarman. Jacob Wittendorp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derk Spiering having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Teuben in the 26th minute of play forced Langeberg FC's goalkeeper Derk Spiering to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Jacob Wittendorp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Derk Spiering was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Jacob Wittendorp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derk Spiering was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jacob Wittendorp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wellenseind FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Wittendorp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derk Spiering breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Teuben in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derk Spiering saved Langeberg FC from getting behind. When Frank Staarman came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Langeberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Staarman couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Teuben to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wellenseind FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Akkerman came free, but Nico-Jan Luirink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Alexander van Nieuwstadt put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Langeberg FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wellenseind FC:s goal. Langeberg FC:s Derk Spiering showed great skill when he stopped Koen Derks:s penalty. David Teuben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derk Spiering having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Langeberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Luc van Zeist. Derk Spiering stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Wittendorp's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Wellenseind FC's David Teuben ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Derk Spiering. Derk Spiering yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Henk Kromkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Staarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico-Jan Luirink having to interfere. Jan Hendrik Krol charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Hendrik Krol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacob Wittendorp struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Derk Spiering didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wellenseind FC. When David Teuben, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Derk Spiering was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rien de Zee during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute David Teuben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derk Spiering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Langeberg FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Henk Kromkamp hit a great ball. Jacob Wittendorp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Teuben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Langeberg FC's Derk Spiering proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Langeberg FC from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Langeberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Teuben came free, but Derk Spiering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derk Spiering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Teuben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Langeberg FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wellenseind FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
