Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fred Roswinkel made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Hydaard HC's goal looked a bit too open when Hub Klijnstra came free, but Sander Veldhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ried FC's Eddy Bunt got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddy Bunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sander Veldhuis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Zoontjens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Hub Klijnstra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ried FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hub Klijnstra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Roswinkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Geert Blommaart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hub Klijnstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sander Veldhuis having to interfere. Fred Roswinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Ried FC's Sander Veldhuis threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hub Klijnstra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Zoontjens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert Blommaart having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Fred Roswinkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geert Blommaart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Jonathan Zoontjens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ried FC's Geert Blommaart. Geert Blommaart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geert Blommaart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Roswinkel in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Ried FC booed when Hydaard HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Roswinkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Roswinkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wessel Cremers's late challenge caught a Hydaard HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wessel Cremers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hydaard HC booed when Ried FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wessel Cremers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Eddy Bunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Lute kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Ried FC were awarded a corner. Arnout Dolfing went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ried FC's Arnout Dolfing to fire away a dangerous shot which Sander Veldhuis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Ried FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacco Teesing to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Ried FC's goalkeeper Geert Blommaart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Zoontjens. 70 minutes into the match, Hydaard HC's goal looked a bit too open when Hub Klijnstra came free, but Sander Veldhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Jan Lute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Hydaard HC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Bunt came free, but Sander Veldhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Zoontjens got free with Geert Blommaart in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eddy Bunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Hydaard HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurice Drent to maneuver through the defense.
