Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilfried Evans got the match started through his kick off. Patrick Niekamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Geert Blommaart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arno Witting charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arno Witting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Allardsoog got a freekick which was hit by Arno Witting. In the 17thth minute of the game Hub Klijnstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Allardsoog's Jef de Graaf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geert Blommaart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogier Dekker went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eddy Bunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jef de Graaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Allardsoog getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hans Hammen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddy Bunt in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jef de Graaf saved Allardsoog from getting behind. Eddy Bunt struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jef de Graaf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ried FC. 38 minutes into the match, Allardsoog's goal looked a bit too open when Hub Klijnstra came free, but Jef de Graaf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hub Klijnstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jef de Graaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Bunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Ralf Werner's late challenge caught a Ried FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Werner helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Allardsoog getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ralf Werner hit a great ball. Hub Klijnstra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jef de Graaf came out and tried to block the shot, but Hub Klijnstra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Evans in the 61st minute of play forced Ried FC's goalkeeper Geert Blommaart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Allardsoog's Wilfried Evans made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geert Blommaart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allardsoog's Jef de Graaf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Allardsoog from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Allardsoog's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hub Klijnstra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Niekamp during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrick Niekamp hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ried FC's Geert Blommaart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Evans in the 75th minute of play. When Hub Klijnstra came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ried FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hub Klijnstra couldn't finish the play. Jef de Graaf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hub Klijnstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Hub Klijnstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jef de Graaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arno Witting kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Hub Klijnstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Wilfried Evans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geert Blommaart was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Allardsoog's zone, Eddy Bunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jef de Graaf came out of the goal and Eddy Bunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddy Bunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jef de Graaf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eddy Bunt ran back to his position shaking his head. Allardsoog's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
