Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Hillen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cobus Geraets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Hillen in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Hillen in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cobus Geraets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benschop HC's Cobus Geraets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Hillen in the 14th minute of play. Benschop HC's Jan Moes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arjen Hindriks made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Carel Ter sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th match minute, Benschop HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Saarloos to maneuver through the defense. Henk Tigelaar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Gerben Gulpen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arjen Hindriks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Moes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Carel Ter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arjen Hindriks. Terwolte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carel Ter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Moes made a kick off. Mirko Rensenbrink hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Marco Hillen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Terwolte were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Benschop HC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Henk Tigelaar took the corner. The corner led Terwolte's Henk Tigelaar to fire away a dangerous shot which Cobus Geraets despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roland Overmars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Hindriks having to interfere. Gerben Gulpen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cobus Geraets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marco Hillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Moes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Hindriks having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Jan Moes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benschop HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Marco Hillen might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cobus Geraets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Hillen ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Benschop HC had won after a very even match.
