The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Klasen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Max Kregel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Jordy Zomer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drempt and the Aardenburg Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Adriaan Wermans sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Drempt's Frits Boezem didn't even have to move. After having played for 85 minutes, Patrick Kuipers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aardenburg Eendracht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Kuipers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frits Boezem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Kregel, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mike Zuiverloon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leon Klasen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
