A collision led to Lithooien HC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Freek Pluym hit a great ball. Hubert Henselmans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ted Korf. Lithooien HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ted Korf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenik Rinzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Domenik Rinzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Korf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Haydon in the 42nd minute of the match. Ted Korf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Haydon in the 44th minute of play. Cor Bas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferry Reinders in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lithooien HC's goalkeeper Ted Korf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Halfmijl FC's Joop Haydon got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joop Haydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ted Korf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenik Rinzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Korf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenik Rinzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Lithooien HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjan Dorenbosch to maneuver through the defense. Domenik Rinzema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurjen Vaalman in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cor Bas saved Halfmijl FC from getting behind. Arjan Dorenbosch was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd minute, Arjan Dorenbosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Domenik Rinzema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Korf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lithooien HC had won after a very even match.
