Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Terover HC's Stefan Rogaars started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Arnold Huizing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Rilland HC's goalkeeper Remond Wiggers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryan Zijden. Stefan Rogaars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Remond Wiggers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remond Wiggers was a little too slow when Stefan Rogaars got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. Rilland HC's Remond Wiggers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rilland HC from getting a goal against them. Rilland HC's Denny Brinks got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Denny Brinks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rilland HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denny Brinks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Hoogenkamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Ryan Zijden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ruud Hoogenkamp didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 60th minute, Dirk Jan Kinear fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ruud Hoogenkamp, passed just outside the right post. When Kenneth Nijemanting fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rilland HC's protests and gave Kenneth Nijemanting a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Rilland HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Nijemanting to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Zijden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Ryan Zijden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remond Wiggers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Rogaars struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Remond Wiggers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terover HC. Remond Wiggers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Rogaars in the 75th minute of the match. If Stefan Rogaars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rilland HC's Mark Lever got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Rogaars in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remond Wiggers saved Rilland HC from getting behind. When Dirk Jan Kinear came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rilland HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk Jan Kinear couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Jan Kinear in the 85th minute of play forced Terover HC's goalkeeper Ruud Hoogenkamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rilland HC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Mark Lever hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dirk Jan Kinear kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruud Hoogenkamp. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play. The Terover HC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rilland HC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rilland HC.
